Malaysia–Indonesia Collaboration through Sandbox

As part of the Global Technology Sandbox Alliance (GTSA), we recently embarked on a knowledge exchange visit to Indonesia, engaging with key innovation and technology ecosystem players including Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) @brin_indonesia, Bandung Techno Park (BTP) @bandungtechnopark and Living Lab Ventures (LLV) under Sinar Mas Land.

The engagements provided an opportunity to exchange insights on technology testing, innovation ecosystems, regulatory sandboxes and pathways for technology validation across both countries.

Beyond knowledge exchange, the visit also focused on exploring potential strategic partners in Indonesia to support vice versa cross-border technology testing through GTSA Programme enabling technologies to access suitable testing environments, ecosystem partners and potential market opportunities for both in Malaysia & Indonesia.

Moving forward, GTSA aims to strengthen and establish bilateral collaboration with Indonesian counterparts in areas related to cross-border technology testing, innovation and regulatory sandbox cooperation, technology validation and market access.
