Engaged with key innovation ecosystem players in Hong Kong including Invest Hong Kong, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Cyberport Hong Kong, Hong Kong–Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park (HSITP), and Transport and Logistics Bureau.
Discussions focused on the regulatory harmonisation, identify market access pathways, and deepening cross-border collaboration across innovation ecosystems. Key areas covered included the innovation ecosystem development, investment connectivity, and regulatory sandbox initiatives such as the Low Altitude Economy (LAE) which are shaping future mobility and innovation frameworks.
Moving forward, the focus is to build stronger institutional linkages and translate these engagements into structured, long-term collaboration opportunities between Malaysia and Hong Kong. This includes aligning ecosystem enablers, supporting startup expansion pathways, and exploring joint initiatives that can accelerate innovation adoption and cross-border scaling.
