NTIS delegation met with the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), the national regulator overseeing Saudi Arabia’s communications, space, and emerging technology sectors.
The discussion focused on understanding CST’s approach in developing and implementing regulatory sandbox frameworks for emerging technologies. The engagement provided valuable insights into how regulatory flexibility, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration are structured to support innovation while ensuring compliance and safety. Both sides also explored opportunities for knowledge sharing and joint learning in advancing regulatory best practices within the innovation ecosystem.
