NTIS delegation met with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), the national regulator responsible for overseeing the ICT sector and digital government initiatives in the UAE.
The discussion focused on TDRA’s ICT Regulatory Sandbox framework, which provides a controlled environment for testing and validating emerging technologies and digital services. The session also served as a platform for knowledge sharing between NTIS and TDRA on how both countries design and manage sandbox frameworks particularly in regulatory processes, governance mechanisms, and innovation facilitation.
