DF Automation and Robotics Sdn Bhd
The NTIS team recently engaged with DF Automation & Robotics, Sandbox participant known for its early robotics innovations introduced during the COVID-19 period.
DF Automation initially submitted two solutions under NTIS:
- Mak Cik Kiah 19 Autonomous Delivery Robot under Sandbox 2 with the solution in designed for safe delivery of food and medicine
- UV Disinfection Robot under Sandbox 1 with the solution in leveraging UVC technology for pathogen elimination
As market needs shifted post-pandemic, DF Automation pivoted and transforming the Mak Cik Kiah robot for use in semiconductor and manufacturing sectors. By retaining core technology and adapting to new demands, DF Automation successfully exports their products India, Vietnam, and Thailand.
