The NTIS team recently met with DreamEDGE Sdn. Bhd. the developer of eCom-8; An autonomous electric vehicle (AV) designed for public use.
Approved under NTIS, DreamEDGE has completed its final milestone submission to MTDC in September 2025. During the engagement, the company shared updates on its commercialisation journey including challenges in supplier reliability and access to large-scale industry opportunities.
Despite these hurdles, DreamEDGE remains optimistic about the growing potential of the local EV and automation ecosystem. The NTIS team also recommended greater industry collaboration and visibility opportunities through upcoming exhibitions to support their market expansion efforts.
